Musical Madness for Kids

Click here for a flyer outlining this program.

Kindergarteners – 5th graders and their caregivers are invited to celebrate the magic that is music in a special springtime series featuring the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra!

In January, February, and April 2015, the Brass Quintet, Woodwind Quintet, and String Quintet of the JSO will each come to the library after school to perform for the children and to teach them all about their musical instruments.

In May 2015, the JSO will present a special Musical Storybooks program for preschoolers and their families featuring the String Quartet and the children’s book Mole Music by David McPhail. Come get a taste of the magical world of classical music!

This special youth music series is a partnership with Youth Services Librarian (and former musician!) Anne Crawford and the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, and sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.
